from sub-district cg
hai ya... just when i realise i've forgotten some of verses i used to know, here comes one more. the passage for sub-d cg was...
2 Timothy 2:20-21
In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
... meaning that the church is filled with people whom God can use. unlike inanimate objects, however, people have a choice in whether they want to serve God and how far they would go in serving God. this determines how far God can use them for noble purposes.
imagine how much God can use each one of us if we dedicate ourselves to Him without fear and holding back! what would we be like? would we dare to be such a person?
also, an old song that i like was sung today... Lord I Will Bow to You.
this song is still ringing in my head... "Lord i will bow to you, to no other God, but You alone." total dedication is required in walking and serving God, because He deserves the best and because He is worth it.
