*cough cough*

i hate coughing! coughs are usually harder to eradicate than a runny nose or sneezing, imo. have been coughing for more than 1 week already. other pple around me are also coughing... my cg member, my shep. yesterday's meeting with my shep was like cough cough here, cough cough there. hee.

the kind of cough i'm having is kind of contagious... the kind with phlegm and itchy throat. i remember being exposed to it by a fellow passenger on a bus, 'cos she was sitting beside me and coughing so hard i noticed her in my drowsiness. so i try not to cough around pple... suppress suppress.

wikipedia and familydoctor have some basic info on coughs. familydoctor, in particular, has a flow-chart to determine what is the root cause of the cough and how to treat it. wikipedia's article reminded me of gargling with salt water as a means of getting rid of phlegm, something my primary school music teacher asked us to do. maybe i'll try it!
